Each Living Walls™ instant hedge and pleached screen is grown in one-metre lengths (1000 mm) and supplied ready to plant. Use the following specifications as a guide for safe handling, trench preparation, spacing, and minimum container sizing.
Each hedge unit’s rootball is approximately 900 mm long, with foliage extending to about one metre.
When planting, allow around 100 mm (10 cm) between rootballs — one hedge per metre of planting length — so the foliage meets neatly but the rootballs do not.
This spacing ensures your Living Walls™ hedge is evenly spaced for a seamless appearance and healthy establishment.
